Passed away in Parker, Colorado to be with his heavenly Father. Tyler was born May 6, 1968, in Baraboo, Wisconsin to Jeri Kramer and Terrance “Terry” Tobin. Tyler moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1982 with his mother and his stepfather David Luft. After graduating from Doherty High School in 1987, Tyler joined the Marine Corp. Upon his return from the Marines, he started his formal education at Arapahoe Community College, then moved on to CU. During that time Tyler managed to earn a walk on spot as a noseguard in the 90-91 University of Colorado’s football team. After that successful football season Tyler moved back to Denver where he completed his undergraduate degree in Business. During that time Tyler met Wendy and after a short courtship, married on May 28, 1994. Tyler then went on to obtain his Masters and PHD ABD in a dual program in Public Administration and Criminal Justice. After college Tyler joined the Army and was stationed in Colorado Springs at Fort Carson for 3 years. He was an E4 and loved every minute of being a soldier and the comradery and friendships he made. While in the military Tyler taught himself Unix systems. Once his tour was done Tyler and Wendy moved to Illinois where Tyler started his IT career at State Farm. Tyler and Wendy stayed in Illinois for 4 years until they found out they were pregnant with their first child and headed back to Colorado to be with their family. Tyler “Tim” loved being a father to both his sons and was very proud of them. Tim also loved anything Civil war and would love to talk for hours about is. Tyler also loved movies and would binge watch everything!
Tyler is survived by his sons Truxton Thomas Tobin, and Torin Terrance Davis Tobin, his former wife Wendy Alene Jones Tobin Colorado Springs, Co., his mother Jeri Kramer Wisconsin Dells Wi. Mother-in-law Crystal C. Smith “Chris” Colorado Springs, Co., Sister-in-law’s Kari August and Amy Cooley Colorado Spring, Colorado, Brother-in-laws Daniel August, and Scott Cooley, Niece and Nephew Cash and Drew Cooley, Aunt and Uncle Sharron and Tim Tobin, and cousins Troy and Tracy Tobin and their respective wives Casey and Roxi Tobin and to all the many friends and family who had the moments of love they shared in his life.
